Prahari welcomes news tips, documents, photographs, and videos in the public interest. By submitting content, you agree to these terms.
1 .Submission & Purpose
Accepted tips relate to:
Public interest matters
Governance and civic issues
Allegations of misconduct (with verifiable evidence)
Community developments
Prahari has sole discretion to determine newsworthiness and publishability.
2 .Submitter Warranties & Liability
By submitting, you warrant that:
Information is true and accurate to your knowledge
Content is not false, defamatory, misleading, or fabricated
Content does not violate any law (defamation, privacy, copyright, national security, etc.)
You have legal authority to share all submitted materials
You accept sole responsibility for authenticity, accuracy, and legality of content
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prahari, its editors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or legal costs arising from false, defamatory, or unlawful submissions.
Liability Limitation: Prahari shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your submission or its publication.
3 .No Publication Guarantee & Editorial Control
Submission does not guarantee investigation, coverage, or publication
Prahari may edit, verify, delay, reject, or decline to publish any submission
No obligation to provide reasons for non-publication or respond to submissions
All editorial decisions (content, timing, format) rest solely with Prahari’s editorial team
4 .Confidentiality Limitations
Prahari will make reasonable efforts to protect confidential sources when requested
Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed if disclosure is required by law, court order, or legal authority
For anonymity, do not include personally identifiable information in submissions
5 .Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
By submitting, you grant Prahari a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, edit, distribute, and display the material across all platforms (print, digital, social media, broadcast).
You retain ownership but acknowledge Prahari’s usage rights. This license does not obligate publication.
6 .Prohibited Content
Will not be accepted:
Defamatory or unsubstantiated allegations
Hate speech or incitement to violence
Personal disputes lacking public interest
Unauthorized copyrighted material
Threatening, abusive, or obscene content
Privacy violations without legitimate public interest
Prahari reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement regarding unlawful submissions.
7 .Data & Legal Terms
Privacy: Personal information handled per applicable data protection laws. Contact details used only for submission-related communication and not shared except as required by law.
Modifications: Prahari may update these terms at any time. Continued submissions constitute acceptance.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rayagada, Odisha.
